By participating in this Melon Mobile Green Weekend Promotion (the “Promotion”), participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, read together with the Melon Unlimited T’s & C’s, in their entirety.

Introduction

The Promotion is being run by Melon Mobile (Pty) Ltd (Registration Number 2022/414601/07), with its business office situated at 3 Lagoon Beach, Unit 14 Office on the Beach, Milnerton (“Melon”).

This Promotion will run from 00h01 on Friday, 29^th November 2024 and shall end at 23h59 on Monday, 2^nd December 2024 (“the Promotion Period”)

Eligibility to Participate in the Promotion

The Promotion will only apply to the Melon Unlimited Plans starting from the 10GB Unlimited Plan and Upwards. This Promotion shall not apply to the Melon 5GB Unlimited Plan

In order to participate in the Promotion, you must be:
‍
- a natural person,
‍
- at least 18 years old,
‍
- resident in South Africa;
‍
- a New Melon customer ie you must not have previously activated a Melon SIM with Melon Mobile before the start of this Promotion in your personal capacity; or
‍
- if you are an existing Melon customer, the Promotion is only available to you should you should you activate one or more new Melon SIMs, while keeping your current Melon SIM activated in terms of your current selected plan.

- Additionally, existing customers will be able to top-up their current plans during the promotion period.

By entering the Promotion, the participant confirms that he/she understand the eligibility criteria as set out above, and confirms that he/she is eligible to participate and to receive the benefits outlined in the Promotion as above.

Should Melon determine that you are not eligible to participate, Melon shall endeavour to communicate with you regarding you ineligibility to participate in the Promotion, but shall not be obliged to do so, and shall be entitled to not apply the benefits without any further notification to you, should the circumstances warrant it.

To Participate in the Promotion

This Promotion is only available via the Melon Mobile App, and not through the Melon Website.

In order to participate in the Promotion, New Melon Customers must:

1. download the Melon Mobile App
‍
2.register and apply for a new SIM or eSIM;
‍
3. sign up for their chosen Melon 10GB Unlimited Plan and up (note: the Promotion is not available for the Melon 5GB Unlimited Plan) and complete the sign-up process as guided by the App.

In order to participate in the Promotion, Existing Melon Customers must:

1. access their Melon Mobile App

2. register and apply for a new SIM or eSIM, in addition to their existing SIM;

3. maintain their existing SIM on its current Plan;

4.sign up for their chosen Melon 10GB Unlimited Plan and up (note: the Promotion is not available for the Melon Unlimited 5GB Plan) and complete the sign-up process as guided by the App.

By entering the Promotion, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with the Unlimited T’s & C’s, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, all of which are available and free to download on the Melon Mobile App and the Melon Mobile Website at https://www.melonmobile.co.za.

The Promotion Benefits

All New Melon Customer and Existing Melon Customers who have registered and signed up to participate in the Promotion via the App shall be entitled to receive all the Promotion benefits.

‍Discounted rates shall only apply in the first month, and shall thereafter revert to the standard published rates, depending on the Plan selected.

Limitation of Liability

Melon Mobile accepts no responsibility for any late registration by any New Melon Customer or Existing Melon Customer to participate in the Promotion, or for any technical malfunction, computer error, or other events, whether or not beyond their control, that may cause the Promotion, or your participation in the Promotion and thus your access to the Promotion benefits, to be disrupted or corrupted.

This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform used for promotion.

General

‍Melon Mobile reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the Promotion or amend these terms and conditions.These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa
