Terms and Conditions:
Melon Mobile Uber Eats iPhone 17 Competition
These Terms and Conditions apply to the Melon Mobile Uber Eats iPhone 17+ Free Data for a year Competition (“the Competition”).
By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Promoter
The Competition is run by Melon Digital (Pty) Ltd (“Melon Mobile”).
2. Competition Period
- The Competition opens on the date of announcement (Wednesday 10 September 2025) and closes on 31 December 2025.
- Melon Mobile reserves the right to extend or shorten the Competition period at its sole discretion.
3. Eligibility
- The Competition is open to residents of South Africa who are 18 years or older.
- To qualify, participants must complete a Melon Mobile sign-up journey using either a Melon SIM pack or Melon eSIM, and meet all Competition requirements as communicated.
- Employees of Melon Mobile, its activation partners and resellers, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
4. How to Enter
- To enter, participants must sign up with Melon Mobile using a Melon SIM or eSIM, complete the registration process in full (including RICA and SIM/eSIM activation) and sign up for a mobile plan.
- Each qualifying sign-up equals one entry.
- Current customers can add a line to their existing account to enter the competition.
- Incomplete registrations will not be considered.
5. The Prize
The prize includes:
- One Apple iPhone 17 (to be delivered once the device becomes commercially available in South Africa), and
- Free Data for 12 months, set at 10 GB per month, based on the average South African's monthly data usage.
- The free data prize will only be applied to active Melon Mobile accounts.
- The prize is not transferable, may not be substituted, and cannot be exchanged for cash or credit.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
- Winners will be selected at random from all valid entries received by the closing date.
- The draw will take place within 14 working days after the closing date.
- The winner will be contacted using the details provided during registration. If the winner cannot be reached within 10 working days, the prize may be forfeited and another winner selected.
7. General
- Melon Mobile accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, or cannot be fulfilled for any reason.
- Melon Mobile reserves the right to verify the eligibility of participants and to disqualify entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions.
- Melon Mobile reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable.
